Nope! There's only a one-time payment, and lifetime access.
There's never a recurring charge. No character expiry dates.

Not between tiers, but additional character slots can be purchased at any time.
There's no difference in features between the tiers, just slots.

You can also add custom systems of your own definitions.

Characters can be stored in any PDS within the AT Protocol.
Those held within the rpg.actor PDS can be migrated safely.

Every character sheet is public on the compendium and network.
You control what information appears on these public sheets.

Each character or item you create uses one creator slot from your account. Builder gives you 10 and Master gives you 50. Additional slots can be purchased at any time.

Gift links let you create items (wearables, equipment, collectibles) and share them with players via a URL. Set a claim limit and expiry date and the item appears in the recipient's character inventory.

Unlocks

Auto-grant items to players whose ATProto / Bluesky activity matches a rule. Each rule fires once per player; the cap, expiry, or disabling it ends distribution.

How rules are evaluated

The player's session calls /api/unlocks/check; we test each enabled rule against their PDS records and Bluesky graph.
Verification results are cached for 60 seconds per (player, rule).
A rule auto-archives once its expiry passes or the recipient cap is reached — past rules move to Prior Unlocks.
Items are granted by writing an equipment.rpg.give record from this account paired with an equipment.rpg.item on the player's PDS.

Bluesky Replies Engagement (like / repost / reply) with a specific post.

Applied Labels Reward players based on labels applied to them by designated labellers.

Player Must Follow (optional)

PDS Origin Player's PDS lives on a designated host (e.g. blacksky.social, reverie.house).

Allowed PDS Domains

Comma/space separated. Suffix-matched (subdomains count). Use bsky.network to include the official mushroom of PDSes.

Disallowed PDS Domains (optional)

Excludes any player whose PDS matches one of these suffixes, even if also in the allowed list.

Handle Domain Player's handle ends with a designated domain (e.g. .reverie.house, .itch.io).

Allowed Handle Suffixes

Comma/space separated. Leading dots ignored. Matches both the bare domain and any subdomain (so rpg.actor also matches foo.rpg.actor).

Disallowed Handle Suffixes (optional)

Excludes any player whose handle ends with these suffixes — useful to require a custom domain (e.g. block bsky.social).

Timeboxed Reward login presence — single visit, multi-day streak, or total visits within a window.
